Gas lines in the area of Ninth Avenue and Pace Street have been shut down. The line was accidentally struck by a construction crew in the area around 1 p.m.
According to the city of Longmont, it is unclear how long repairs will take, however, the city expects it to be more than two hours. The leak is currently being addressed by Xcel Energy.
