Marilyn L. Bielen of Loveland, CO passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 6, 2024.
She was born to Peter and Dorthea Petersen in Burwell, Nebraska. Marilyn was one of 6 children. Having 3 brothers and 2 sisters. All but one sister, Frances Wagner (James) of Concord, California have preceded her in death.
After graduating from Burwell High School, she married Stanley A. Tucker. They left the Burwell area and moved to Longmont CO. Two children were born of this union Timothy A. Tucker and Pamela K. Tucker. Marilyn and Stanley divorced in 1980.
Marilyn met and married Andrew F. Bielen in 1983. They were married 34 years. They enjoyed dancing, gambling whenever they got the chance, traveling to be with family and just being together. Andy preceded Marilyn in her death in 2017.
Marilyn’s work life included JC Penney’s, Sears and IBM Credit Union from where she retired from.
Marilyn is survived by her son Timothy A. Tucker (Cindy) of Mead, CO. Daughter Pamela K. (Tucker) Godfrey of Loveland CO. Grandson Justin Godfrey (Eileen) of Annapolis, MD, Granddaughter Jamalea Martelle (Charlie) of Juneau, AK. and Grandson Lucas Tucker (Kristie) of Mead, CO.
Marilyn is also survived by Great Grandchildren Lucy Godfrey & Edith Godfrey of Annapolis, MD and Austin Tucker of Mead, CO. along with several nieces & nephews.
A memorial graveside service will be held at Resthaven Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 29, 2024
