Zometool Goes Global with an Agreement with China-based Bell Education Group

LONGMONT, Colo – Longmont-based Zometool will be signing a three-year agreement with Bell Education Group on Thursday, October 19, 11 am at Silver Creek High School. Bell will be Zometool’s exclusive distributor in mainland China.

LONGMONT, Colo – Longmont-based Zometool will be signing a three-year agreement with  Bell Education Group on Thursday, October 19, 11 am at Silver Creek High School. Bell will be Zometool’s exclusive distributor in mainland China.

“We initiated a relationship with this great new distributor in China,” says Carlos Neumann, President of Zometool Inc.  “Their first orders are quickly putting them in our top customer category.”

The signing ceremony, hosted by Silver Creek High School and in partnership with the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce, will mark the start of a unique relationship.  “This is an exciting day for Zometool and the manufacturing community in Longmont. Zometool is a great example of the growth and global reach of our local manufacturers,” said Scott Cook, CEO of the Longmont Chamber.

Ms. Angela Qiu, Vice President of Bell Education Group, accompanied by Mr. Thomas Zhang will be signing her name next to that of Mr. Carlos Neumann, president of Zometool Inc.  A champagne toast will follow to celebrate the new partnership. Zometool will invest in the expansion and improvement of their manufacturing capabilities as well as the development of an online platform to distribute Zome-based content. Bell Education will be branching out beyond robotics as it continues its commitment to changing science and technology education for Chinese children by offering creative educational experiences using Zometool.
