As the days slowly lengthen and warmer weather gradually appears, local gardeners begin to hanker for soil between their fingers and young plants in their gardens. Don't despair, the Library is here to help launch the gardening season! Get a jump start on planning your summer garden -- be it food or flower -- at the Longmont Public Library's 1st Annual Gardening Fair on Sunday, March 1 from 2 to 4 pm, featuring booths staffed by local gardening retailers and experts prepared to answer your questions and offer ideas. All ages are welcome at this fun program -- you're never too young (or old!) to dig in the dirt. No registration is required for the program. Also, watch for the Library's Free Seed Library to open in early March, too!
