PROTECTION ORDER
On November 26, 2018, officers responded to the 2400 block of Main Street on report of a disturbance between an adult male and female. The adult male is the suspect for violation of a protection order. This case will be open for further investigation.
BURGLARY
On November 26, 2018, a burglary report was received from the 1900 block of Terry Street. An adult male reported a secure lot was broken into and property was stolen. There is no suspect information. Case is closed.
THEFT
On November 26, 2018, a theft report was received from the 1800 block of Nelson Road. An adult male reported a piece of equipment was stolen from a construction site. There is no suspect information. Case is closed.
LITTERING
On November 26, 2018, a littering report was received from the 1200 block of Pace Street. An adult male reported illegal dumping of articles in the apartment complex's dumpsters. Case is open.
DEATH
On Monday, 11/26/18, at approximately 13:21 hours, officers responded to a death investigation in the 2300 block of Wedgewood Avenue. This case is open and under investigation.
SHOPLIFT
On 11/25/18, officers took a report of a theft from a business in the 1000 block of Main Street. An adult male was contacted and issued a municipal summons for theft. Case is cleared by arrest, summons issued.
THEFT
A Longmont resident in the 1800 block of Spencer Street reported a theft from his residence. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.
SHOPLIFT
On 11/25/18, at approximately 20:06 hours, Longmont police officers responded to the 1200 block of South Hover Street for the report of shoplifting. A male party stole a mixer and attempted to return it for cash. This case was cleared by arrest.
DEATH
On Sunday, 11/25/18, at approximately 22:38 hours, Longmont Police and Longmont Fire Departments responded to a medical call in the 100 block of Grant Street. A 68 year-old male was found unresponsive and was later pronounced deceased. No suspicious circumstances were discovered during the investigation and the case is closed.
WARRANT ARREST
On Monday, 11/26/18 at approximately 02:05 hours, Longmont police contacted a pedestrian in the 300 block of South Pratt Parkway. The adult male was arrested on an active municipal court warrant and was transported to the Boulder County Jail.
VICIOUS DOG
On Monday, 11/26/18, Animal Control was notified of a dog bite. The dog was quarantined at its home and the victim was treated and released. The owner of the dog was warned of the incident.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On Monday, November 26, 2018, officers responded to the 900 block of Longs Peak Avenue in regards to an adult transient male that had broken some equipment off of a building. The male was contacted and issued a summons. Cleared by summons.
FRAUD
A Longmont resident in the 900 block of Tony Place reported an incident of forgery. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.
HARASSMENT
On 11/26/18, at approximately 18:11 hours, Longmont police responded to the 600 block of Lashley Street, to an address in the City of Longmont, County of Boulder, and State of Colorado reference a harassment call for service. Upon investigation, the victim did not wish to pursue criminal charges and requested a report be taken. Case closed.
SHOPLIFT
On Monday, November 26, 2018, Longmont police responded to the 2500 block of Main Street on a theft. A juvenile female was caught shoplifting and was referred to the Longmont Community Justice Partnership restorative justice program. Case closed.
DISTURBANCE
On November 26, 2018, officers were dispatched on a disturbance to the 1300 block of Monarch Avenue. A 27 year-old male was taken into protective custody for a mental health hold. Case closed.
