The Longmont Theatre Company’s eighth show of the 2017/2018 season, Gypsy, will be opening this Friday, May 4, 2018.
Directed by Theresa Collins and "regarded by many as the greatest musical ever created, GYPSY is the ultimate tale of an ambitious stage mother fighting for her daughters’ success… while secretly yearning for her own. Set all across America in the 1920’s, when vaudeville was dying and burlesque was born, Arthur Laurents’ landmark show explores the world of two-bit show business with artful humor, heart, and sophistication."
Gypsy will show on May 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19 at 7:30 pm and May 6, 7 at 2:00 pm.
