The Longmont Observer, The Wild Game, and Kakes Studio invites you to a night of Salsa dancing and to support local news.
The Salsa Night event will be held on Friday, August 24 from 6:30-9 p.m. at The Wild Game, located at 2251 Ken Pratt Blvd, Longmont.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with an hour of professional instruction from Mamie Kakes of Kakes Studio and is followed by a dance party at 7:30 p.m. to practice your new dance moves.
Tickets are $10 for the professional instruction and dance party and $5 for the dance party only.
Proceeds benefit the Longmont Observer and our efforts in providing quality local journalism.

The Firehouse Art Center Open Call Deadline Soon Approaching
The Firehouse Art Center will be closing applications for their Open Call for artists to get on their 2019 exhibition calendar on September 1, 2018.
Each year the Firehouse Art Center exhibits Longmont's leading contemporary art by featuring both national and local artists. In 2017, they were able to show the work of 123 artists in 15 unique exhibitions.
"We focus on accessible contemporary art that engages curiosity and conversation," states a press release from Firehouse Art Center.
There is a $30 submission fee associated with the application. Submissions must be made via callforentry.org.
