Mud & Madder Spring Pop Up Market
Mud & Madder, located at 712 Main Street, is hosting their first ever Spring Pop Up Market on May 12th from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The Spring Pop-Up Market is designed to shop for handmade Mother’s Day gifts or something special for yourself. Some of the types of items that can be found include: woodblock art prints and letterpress cards, fabric bags, pouches, and pillows, jewelry, hand marbled silk scarves, ceramic wind chimes, planters, cold process soap, art prints and original art, illustrated stationary, and more.
This local event is free and open to the public and shows support for local art in the community. "I personally love talking to the person that made something I buy. In the current online retail world, we've lost this personal touch, and this is an opportunity to go back to our roots a little, says Simi of Muddy Mint
Simi goes on to describe the event, "We love hosting events that bring together the community, while also supporting local makers. This is one of two markets that we host at Mud & Madder each year. The Spring Market is a celebration of change and many of our vendors have new spring collections, which they'll be offering at the market. The market is also the day before Mother's Day, so it's a great opportunity to pick up a thoughtful handmade gift and meet the maker as well."
Mud & Madder is a collaboration between ceramics artist Fettle & Fire and soapmaker Muddy Mint. Their downtown location houses a studios in the back and a retail space up front. All of items are made locally and handmade.
Mud & Madder also host events and offers workshops and classes throughout the year. To learn more about Mud & Madder visit their website at mudandmadder.com or follow them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/mudandmadder/.
