Longmont, CO - - - Affordable housing is a serious topic for those living in Longmont and the region.  While there are no simple answers, this year Longmont's three Rotary clubs are working together to provide the gift of Shelter.

Members of the Longmont, Twin Peaks and St. Vrain Rotary clubs have been working together for the past several months to produce the 2017 Rotary Holiday Ball benefitting the Inn Between and Shelter Box.

"The Holiday Ball has always been a way for our members to raise money to give back to worthy non-profits working in our community.  I'm so pleased that this year we have two excellent organizations that work locally and around the world to provide shelter," said Rich Schenker, co-chairman of the event.

The event takes place November 25th from 7:30 - 11:30 p.m. at the Plaza Events Center located at 1850 Industrial Circle in Longmont.  The cost is $100 per person, or $750 for tables of 10.

Entertainment will be provided by Kerry Pastine and the Crime Scene.

"All benefits from the event will be awarded to the Inn Between and Shelter Box," said Rich Schenker, event co-chair. "Non-profits throughout the community were invited to apply for the funds.  Then our entire membership votes."

Cindy Noble, event co-chair adds, "This year sponsors have stepped up to cover all of our expenses.  We are thrilled that all ticket proceeds will be donated to such wonderful organizations."
