Lucy Stone is not the most famous suffragette in American history, but she was one of the most important. For starters, she was responsible for converting Susan B. Anthony to the cause of women's suffrage. This fascinating, pioneering woman will come to life in a new Chautauqua starring Lyda Mary Hardy in a first-person portrayal of Lucy Stone on Thursday, March 19, from 7 to 8 pm at the Longmont Public Library. This program is best for those aged 16 or older. Registration is required and is available online. Patrons without internet access or an email address may call 303-651-8472 to register by phone.
