For artist Dava Money, art is a form of meditation.

"I may have an image in mind when I begin however the creative process soon takes over and I am simply the observer. The Chinese term wu wei captures it best,  effortless action," she said.

Compelled to create, Money looks to the connections between things, the beauty of people and animals and flowers to inspire her art.

"Flowers especially call to me because of their fragility and impermanence," she said.
