The Inn Between mission is to provide supportive housing and promote stability to diverse families and individuals facing homelessness by utilizing community resources, case management and life skills training. The Inn Between of Longmont provides a safe, stable home for nearly 300 individuals facing homelessness each year - over 100 of them are children. With rising costs for housing, more and more low income households struggle to keep both a roof overhead and pay for other basic needs. They face eviction. There's no affordable option. They need a place where their housing is stabilized so they can start anew and educational opportunities that foster stability to prevent an ongoing cycle of homelessness.
No matter the circumstances, housing loss is stressful and frightening. The Inn Between is here to help.
Our Supportive Housing and Services program provides safe, respectable, affordable housing, along with stability building classes and guidance. It’s a chance for a fresh start. Our residents now have respite from an overwhelming situation and can set goals and action plans to improve their family’s long term stability.
- Many mothers and fathers no longer need to worry about where their children will sleep tonight.
- For those who’ve fled a dangerous relationship, they find safety and hope.
- For teens who have left a difficult home life with nowhere else to turn, they find stability and a way to finish high school.
- For elderly and the disabled with very little to live on they find a permanent place to call home that’s affordable and respectable.
- For children struggling with achievement in school, they find support and resources that can make a real difference in their life chances.
