Over the years Tim Waters and I have often been on different sides of the political spectrum, but I have always admired his integrity, his thoughtful consideration of issues, and his determination to build bridges to forge a consensus solution to difficult issues.

After a distinguished 44-year career in education … locally as Superintendent of the Greeley Schools… regionally serving on the Colorado Higher Education Commission … and nationally and internationally as CEO of an organization applauded as one of the most influential in U.S. Education, Tim now has the time to devote to the community he and his family have called home for more than twenty years.

An experienced leader with a deep commitment to civic service, Tim is just what this local community needs as we face the future. We in Ward I are lucky to have three candidates who care about the future direction of our community, but I urge all of you to look carefully at what Tim Waters could bring in service to Longmont and cast your vote for him in the February 27th election.
