Aurora Police Seek Suspect in Teen Kidnapping Incident

Aurora Police are searching for a woman involved in a possible kidnapping that occurred Sunday evening.

The incident took place near East Colfax Avenue and North Scranton Street.

Authorities are now asking the public for help as they investigate this troubling case.

Teen Abducted Outside Shop

A teenage girl entered a coffee shop near East Colfax Avenue and North Scranton Street at around 5:20 p.m.

She asked to use the restroom and stayed briefly inside the shop. Moments later, a woman came into the store and forced the teen outside.

The woman made the teen get into a blue two-toned Ford F-150 parked outside the shop.

Police noted the truck was missing the driver’s side running board and had no visible license plate.

The teen’s current whereabouts remain unknown.

Police Investigate Case

Aurora Police are treating the incident as both a suspicious event and a possible kidnapping.

Witnesses inside the coffee shop were the first to alert authorities about what happened. Their reports prompted an immediate investigation.

Detectives are working to gather more details to confirm the nature of the case.

While no missing person report has been filed, police expressed concern due to the unusual circumstances.

They are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Public Help Needed

The teen was last seen wearing dark pants and a black hoodie, according to police.

Investigators described the suspect’s vehicle as a two-toned blue Ford F-150 with noticeable damage, including a missing driver’s side running board.

Aurora Police have released photos of the truck and are asking for tips to help locate the teen and the suspect.
