A 54-year-old man died at the scene of a motorcycle accident Tuesday in Longmont. The man’s name has not been released.
Longmont Police Services and Longmont Fire Services were dispatched at 5:39 p.m. to eastbound Colo.119 on a report of a single motorcycle accident, according to a news release. The lone driver of the motorcycle died at the scene.
More information on the driver will be available once the Boulder County Coroner’s Office notifies next of kin, the news release states.
Colo. 119 will be closed in both directions Tuesday night between County Line Road and Third Avenue as the Longmont Police Traffic Unit will be on the scene for several hours as they complete their investigation.
