Car crash causes disturbance at Ken Pratt Walmart

The situation is under investigation

Update: On Monday, a low-speed t-bone crash in the Ken Pratt Walmart parking lot caused a dispute and required several police officers to respond.

The crash occurred at a low rate of speed and resulted in minimal damage to the cars involved. 

One party used a cell phone to take pictures of the accident. A second party believed they saw another involved party present a gun, according to the Longmont Police Department. 

Additional officers responded to the situation and an investigation began. Officers later determined that a gun was "not displayed during the incident," said Robin Ericson, communications and marketing manager for Longmont Public Safetly via email on Tuesday.

 


Earlier today, a t-bone crash near the Walmart on Ken Pratt Boulevard caused a disturbance. 

The disturbance is currently under investigation by the Longmont Police, according to Robin Ericson, communications and marketing manager for Longmont Public Safety.
