Cold case: Denver woman found strangled to death

Denver police are still seeking answers for the death of Margaret Albo, who was found strangled to death in a Denver alley.

Margaret Albo was 59-years-old when she was found strangled in an alley on May 31, 1991. 

Police are still puzzled as to the circumstances surrounding her death and the identity of her murderer. 

Witnesses reported seeing Albo the night before she was murdered at a neighborhood restaurant called the Denver Grill, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation Cold Case File website

The establishment was in close proximity to the murder scene, which was in a vacant parking lot in an alley between Welton Street and Glenarm Place near Lawson Park in Denver. 

Albo had black hair and brown eyes. She was 5’ 0” and weighed 180 pounds at the time of her death.
