Yesterday, the Longmont Police Department attempted to pull over a man in the area of Colo. 66 and Main Street. The man was suspected of violating parole.
During the attempt to stop the vehicle, the driver eluded police officers. Longmont Police Officers later ended the pursuit due to safety reasons.
While the attempt to contact the suspect was unsuccessful, a warrant will be obtained, according to the Longmont Police Report.
