Gunshots were heard at a local retailer in the 1500 block of Main Street on Monday around 6:54 p.m.

A witness said that three or four men had entered the store together. The party asked the store clerk for an item located in the store.

The clerk stepped away to retrieve the item and “a loud pop was heard,” according to Longmont Police.

The men left the building and the witness noticed damage to a window above the store’s entrance. The damage is believed to have been caused by a spring or gas-operated pellet or bb gun. The damage to the window is estimated at $2,000.

The men were described to be in their late teens or early 20s and between 5’4” and 5’8” tall, according to police.

If you were a witness or have video which would lead to the individual(s) responsible, please contact Longmont Police and reference #23-8855.
