On Saturday, the Longmont Emergency Communications Center received a call about a Wibby Brewing’s haunted house employee who was assaulted while working.

According to the Longmont Police Department’s Saturday police report, the person suspected of committing the assault was a Spanish-American female.

During the incident, the haunted house actor jumped out at the suspect who then punched the actor, Robin Ericson, LPD’s Communications and Marketing Manager, said.

Other employees responded to the situation and the suspect and her group fled the scene.

Upon LPD’s arrival, employees reported the woman and her group appeared to be intoxicated. Witnesses also said the suspected group might still be on the scene in a black sedan.

Officers canvassed the area in efforts to locate the vehicle but were not successful due to the lack of a detailed description, Ericson said.

The location where the assault took place has a photo of the suspect and her boyfriend.

At this time, the suspect has not been identified and this case is still under investigation.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to please contact the Longmont Police Department at 303-651-8555.
