House destroyed in Tilghman Road structure fire

Multiple agencies responded to the blaze this morning

At 7:40 a.m. on Tuesday, the Boulder County Communications Center received a call regarding a structure fire on Tilghman Rd., in unincorporated Boulder County, west of the Town of Jamestown. 

When first responders arrived on-scene, they found a two-story house that was engulfed in flames. The homeowners were not at the home at the time of the fire, and there were no reported injuries. The house sustained substantial damage from the fire, but unfortunately the house is a total loss.

The Multi-Agency Fire Investigation Team (MAFIT) responded and is investigating the cause of the fire.

The following agencies responded to the fire: Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Lefthand Fire Protection District, Lyons Fire Protection District, Jamestown Volunteer Fire Department, Boulder Mountain Fire Protection District, Allenspark Fire Protection District, Nederland Fire Protection District, American Medical Response (AMR), Boulder Emergency Squad (BES), and the American Red Cross.
