The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who’s wanted in connection with a child sexual exploitation case.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Stevie Brown Jr., 43, for 10 felony counts of sexual exploitation of a child-possession, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

An investigation was launched after the Colorado Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received evidence of child sexual abuse material possession from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to the release. A search warrant was then executed at Brown’s home in the 1700 block of Whitehall Drive.

“He was made aware of the warrant for his arrest and has since not been able to be located,” the sheriff’s office said in the release.

Brown is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 155 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, the sheriff’s office said. He may be somewhere in the Lakewood area.

Anyone who knows Brown’s whereabouts is asked to call Boulder County Digital Forensics Lab Detective Katie Tkach at 303-441-3646.
