FRAUD 

A resident on Aug. 21 reported identity theft in the 2000 block of Sunlight Drive. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

Police on Aug. 20 responded to a report of a domestic violence incident in the 3000 block of Pike Road. A 34-year-old man was arrested on domestic violence-related charges. This case is cleared by arrest.

DRUG VIOLATION 

On Aug. 21 at approximately 0001, hours police conducted a traffic stop at Ken Pratt Boulevard and South Sunset Street. A man was issued a summons for possession of narcotics.

WARRANT ARREST 

On Aug. 21, officers contacted a woman in the 1600 block of Pace Street. The case is cleared by arrest.

SEX ASSAULT 

On Aug. 21, police took a report of a possible sexual assault in the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane. This case is open.

BURGLARY 

On Aug. 21, police took a report of a theft in the 1000 block of 16th Avenue. 

WELFARE CHECK 

On Aug. 21, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Chinook Avenue on a report of a welfare check. A woman was transported to the hospital for a mental health hold.

AUTO THEFT 

On Aug. 21, police took a report of an auto theft in the 400 block of 23rd Avenue. 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

On Aug. 20, police took a report of a criminal mischief incident that occurred in the 1300 block of Emery Street. A 43-year-old man reported damage to his vehicle.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

The Longmont Police Department Cyber Crimes Unit on Aug. 20 assisted the Boulder Police Department, which was assisting a law enforcement agency in North Carolina. For more information contact the Boulder Police Department.

DISTURBANCE 

On Aug. 20, police responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of Lashley Street.

VICIOUS DOG 

A dog bit a person and attempted to bite another as they worked in a Longmont home on Aug. 20. The dog was placed on home quarantine.

AUTO THEFT 

On Aug. 21, officers took a report of attempted auto theft in the 2100 block of Sherman Street.
