THEFT
An employee of a Longmont business on Aug. 24 reported theft in the 1800 block of Hover Street. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A resident on Aug. 23 reported her vehicle was damaged while parked in the 500 block of South Hover Street. There are no investigative leads.
PROTECTION ORDER
On Aug. 23, police initiated a protection order violation investigation in the 700 block of Crisman Drive. Information was obtained and a suspect was developed.
FOLLOW-UP
On Aug. 23, officers responded to the 200 block of Main Street on report of an escaped male.
AUTO THEFT
On Aug. 24, officers responded to the 1000 block of Hover Street in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, officers discovered a stolen vehicle on the property. A male subject was arrested for aggravated auto theft. This case is cleared by arrest.
WARRANT ARREST
On Aug. 24, officers responded to the 1000 block of Hover Street for a call referencing theft. When officers arrived multiple individuals were contacted. One of the male subjects was arrested for outstanding warrants. This case is cleared by arrest.
MISSING PERSON
On Aug. 24, officers took a report from the 2700 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard. The case is being followed up on by Weld County Social Services.
VICIOUS DOG
A juvenile on Aug. 24 was bitten by a loose dog. The dog has been placed on quarantine in the owner's home.
ABANDON/PARKING
On Aug. 24, Longmont officers towed an abandoned vehicle from the area of 20th Avenue and Terry Street.
MENACING
On Aug. 24, officers responded to the area of Martin Street and Ken Pratt Boulevard on a report of a disturbance between two men. A report was taken.
DEATH
On Aug. 16, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Centennial Drive in reference to a medical assist. A man was transported to the hospital.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
On Aug. 22, officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Tyrrhenian Circle. A vehicle was found with its doors open. There are no suspects at this time.
AUTO THEFT
On Aug. 22, officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Spotswood Street. A vehicle was found with its doors. A vehicle also was stolen from the driveway of the same residence. There are no suspects at this time.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On Aug. 22, officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Main Street for a possible domestic dispute. A woman was later arrested.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
On Aug. 23 a man reported an attempted trespass to his vehicle in the 1400 block Belmont Drive. The suspects fled the area prior to officers’ arrival.
SEX ASSAULT
On Aug. 23 at approximately 0214 hours, an officer was dispatched to a sex assault that occurred in the 1100 block of 17th Avenue. A man was possibly sexually assaulted by a woman. No arrests have been made at this time. This case is still under investigation.
CHILD
On Aug. 23, officers responded to the 2500 block of Main Street in reference to a child welfare check. A report was taken.
CHILD
On Aug. 23, police responded to the 2400 block of Skysail Court in reference to a child welfare check. Information was obtained and no concerns were observed; report generated.
FOLLOW-UP
On Aug. 24, the Longmont Police Department began investigating a man for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains open pending additional follow-up.
