CRIMINAL MISCHIEF IN PROGRESS
On Aug. 25 at approximately 0230 hours, officers were dispatched to the area of the 1300 block of Dry Creek Drive on a criminal mischief complaint. A male party was contacted and subsequently arrested. The case is cleared by arrest.
WARRANT ARREST
On Aug. 25 at approximately 0431 hours, officers in the 800 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard contacted a party with outstanding warrants.
AUTO THEFT
On Aug. 25, police took a report of auto theft from the 1500 block of Meeker Street. There are no suspects at this time.
THEFT
On Aug. 25, officers responded to the 1700 block of Main Street in reference to a theft. A man was issued a county summons for theft.
INFORMATION
On Aug. 25 at approximately 0850 hours, an officer took an informational report in reference to an incident that occurred in the 2000 block of 11th Avenue.
SEX ASSAULT
On Aug. 25, officers took a report of a sexual assault in the 1600 block of 14th Avenue. Case is open for further investigation.
PROTECTION ORDER
On Aug. 25, police investigated a protection order violation in the 700 block of Elliott Street.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On Aug. 25, officers responded to the 1700 block of Hover Street referencing a call regarding harassment. When officers arrived on scene, witnesses reported a woman broke a business’ glass door. She was issued a summons for vandalism. This case is closed by summons.
AUTO THEFT
On Aug. 25 at approximately 1300 hours, the police responded to the 700 block of East Fourth Avenue on a report of an abandoned vehicle.
WELFARE CHECK
The Cyber Crimes Unit of the Longmont Police Department on Aug. 25 began an investigation into information shared via Crime Stoppers. The investigation was turned over to another agency for follow-up.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A Longmont resident on Aug. 25 reported his vehicle was vandalized while it was parked in the 100 block of Dawson Place. There are no investigative leads.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On Aug. 25 at about 1608 hours, police took a report of a domestic incident that occurred in the 10 block of Ninth Avenue.
DISTURBANCE
On Aug. 25, police responded to a disturbance in the 1600 block of Main Street. A man was placed on a mental health hold..
HARASSMENT
On Aug. 19, police were called in regard to an obscenity incident in the 600 block of East Mountain View Avenue. The case is under investigation.

On Aug. 24, Longmont officers responded to the 1700 blk of Sumner Street in reference to an attempt to locate a party with a warrant for their arrest. Case cleared by arrest.
ASSAULT
On Aug. 24 at approximately 1218 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Indian Paintbrush Lane in reference to a disturbance. A man was arrested for third-degree assault and child abuse.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
On Aug. 24, officers responded to the 1700 block of Harvard Street in reference to first-degree criminal trespass of a vehicle.

VICIOUS DOG
On Aug. 25 at approximately 0032 hours, officers responded to Longmont United Hospital in reference to a dog bite that occurred in the 400 block of Dickson Street.
