THEFT

A Longmont resident reported theft in th 1600 block of Hover Street. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time. 

LOST PROPERTY

A Longmont resident reported lost property in the 400 block of Barnard Court. This is a courtesy report. 

PROTECTION ORDER

On August 14, 2021, officers took a call of a protection order violation in the 1600 block of 18th Ave. between two adult females and a report was taken.  

BURGLARY

On Wednesday, August 18, 2021, officers responded to the 800 block of Meeker St. in response to a cold burglary attempt. Cleared on a report.  

AUTO THEFT

Longmont Police took a report of an attempted automobile theft in the 3100 block of Lake Park Way. There are no suspects at this time. 

HARASSMENT

On 08/18/21, officers investigated a potential domestic violence related stalking that originated in Fort Collins. Case has been referred to Fort Collins PD for their investigation. 

SEX ASSAULT

On 08/18/2021, at 1245 hours, a Longmont Police Officer was assigned a cold sex assault by phone. Longmont Emergency Communications advised the reporting party was needing to report inappropriate touching between siblings, an eight-year-old and an eleven-year-old. The case is open and has been referred to detectives. 

AUTO THEFT

On Wednesday, 8/18/21, a report was taken reference an aggravated motor vehicle theft which occurred in the 1800 block of Cambridge Dr. The suspects are unknown.  

HARASSMENT

On August 18, 2021, the Longmont Police Department investigated a harassment that occurred in the 4500 block of Redmond Dr.  

DISTURBANCE

On Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at about 2101 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane on a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers found a juvenile male caused damage to the inside of his residence. A report was taken. 

WARRANT ARREST

On Wednesday, 08/18/2021, at approximately 2246 hours, police responded to the 200 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard in relation to a trespass. An adult male was arrested on multiple warrants. 

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On August 14, 2021, officers initiated a traffic stop of a suspicious vehicle in the 1800 block of Main Street. One adult male was issued a citation for traffic related charges. Case cleared by arrest. Summons issued.  

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION 

On Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at approximately 0845 hours, Longmont Police received a report of a man shutting off power to businesses in the 2100 block of Main St. The man was contacted, arrested on these charges and unrelated warrants. 

FOLLOW UP

On Tuesday, August 17, 2021, the Longmont Police Department began investigating an adult male for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains open pending additional follow-up. 

BURGLARY

On Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at approximately 1348 hours, officers contacted an adult male in the 600 block of Rider Ridge Drive. The male indicated that sometime during the past four days his bedroom was entered and items removed.  

FRAUD

On Tuesday, 8/17/21, a report was taken reference theft of an at risk adult which occurred in the 2700 block of Nelson Rd. The case is under investigation. 

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

On Tuesday, 08/18/2021, Longmont Police responded to a crash in the 1100 block of Atwood St. involving a vehicle colliding with a parked car. This case is still being investigated.  

CHILD 

On Tuesday, August 17, 2021 officers responded to the 300 block of Main St. in regards to a child abuse call. An adult female was contacted an later taken into custody. Cleared by arrest. 

IDENTITY THEFT

On 8/17/2021, officers were dispatched to a theft in the 700 block of Ken Pratt Blvd. The case is open pending further investigation. 

DISTURBANCE

An adult female advised she was assaulted in the 1300 block of Coffman St. The incident is under investigation.  

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Wednesday, 8/18/21, a report was taken reference a criminal mischief which occurred in the 2400 block of Atwood St. The suspects are unknown.  

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Wednesday, 8/18/21, a report was taken reference a criminal trespass and theft which occurred in the 1600 block of Hartley Ct. The suspects are unknown.  

SEX ASSAULT

On Wednesday, 8/18/2021, Longmont Police took a report of a possible sex assault. The case is still open for investigation.  

GRAFFITI

On 08/18/2021, Longmont Police took a call of a graffiti complaint at a residence in the 200 block of Sunset St. Police collected the available information and a report was taken.  

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On August 18, 2021, officers took an informational report in reference to an outside agency assist.  

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont male was bit by his dog. 

AUTO THEFT

On August 18, 2021, officers responded to the 1700 block of Hover St. to an auto theft. It was found that a vehicle was stolen and a report was taken. The case remains open pending further investigation. 

TRESPASS

On 8/18/21, officers contacted an adult female in the 2100 block of Main St. reference a welfare check. The female entered a restaurant after hours, without the manager's knowledge. The manager found the female who then left the premises. The female was contacted and issued a municipal summons for trespass.
