On Thursday, August 26, 2021, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of S. Francis St. This was in response to a protection order violation. Cleared on arrest.
BURGLARY
On Thursday, August 26, 2021, at approximately 0749 hours, Longmont Police investigated a burglary to a business in the area of 3rd Ave. and Baker St. Two vehicles were stolen in the burglary.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On Thursday, 08/26/21, a Longmont, CO resident reported vandalism in the 500 block of Hover St. There are no investigative leads.
DISTURBANCE
On Tuesday, 08/24/21, Longmont Police School Resource Officer responded to a disturbance involving two female juvenile students at a local middle school. This report is for documentation purposes. No charges have been filed at this time.
SHOPLIFT
On 08/26/2021, Longmont Police responded to the 2200 E. block of Ken Pratt Blvd. on the report of a shoplift. An adult female was contacted for shoplifting and issued a summons. The female held an unrelated warrant and was arrested.
THEFT
On Tuesday, August 24, 2021, an adult female contacted the police department to report that her Walmart account had been accessed and approximately $400.00 worth of merchandise was purchased. The case is under investigation.
BURGLARY
On Wednesday, August 25, 2021, officers responded to the 000 block of Quail Rd. on a burglary. A report has been taken.
ANIMAL COMPLAINT
A Longmont female was bitten by a cat she was watching. The cat was quarantined at home.
FRAUD
A report of Elder Fraud was received by the Longmont Police Department. A report was taken for further investigation.
DISTURBANCE
On Wednesday, 08/25/21, Longmont Police School Resource Officer responded to a disturbance at a local middle school. Two juvenile males, who are students at the school, were involved in a physical altercation. Incident is being handled by school administration.
ASSAULT
On Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at about 1625 hours, Longmont Police took a report of an assault that occurred in the 1600 block of Main Street. An adult female advised an adult female hit her. A report was taken.
SHOPLIFT
On August 25, 2021, the Longmont Police Department investigated a theft that occurred in the 1000 block of Ken Pratt Blvd.
HARASSMENT
On Wednesday, August 25, 2021, officers responded to the 900 block of Coffman St. on a report of a harassment. A report has been taken.
PROTECTION ORDER
On August 26, 2021, Longmont Police responded to the 200 block of Coffman St. on the report of a protection order violation. An adult male was arrested.
AUTO THEFT
On Thursday, 8/26/21, a report was taken reference an aggravated motor vehicle theft which occurred in the 1200 block of Pace St. The motorcycle was later recovered and the suspects are unknown.
DISTURBANCE
On 08/26/21, officers responded to the 2300 block of Judson St. on a disturbance between an adult male and female. The case is cleared by issuance of a summons.
WELFARE CHECK
On Thursday, August 26, 2021, at approximately 1300 hours, the Longmont Police Department took a report, via phone, regarding a welfare check. An investigation was conducted and report was generated. The report was submitted to detectives for further follow up.
THEFT
On Thursday, 8/26/21, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 2100 block of Hackberry Cr. The suspects are unknown.

On August 26, 2021, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 4500 block of Redmond Dr. on a found child.
FDC/CRIM TRESPASS
On August 26, 2021, the Longmont Police Department investigated the theft and recovery of a moped in the 1400 block of Renaissance Dr.
PROTECTION ORDER
On 08/26/21, officers responded to the area of Lois Pl. and Collyer St. on a report of a disturbance. After investigation, an adult male was arrested for violating a protection order.
ASSAULT
On Thursday, August 26, 2021, at about 1942 hours, Longmont Police took a report of an assault that occurred in the 2100 block of Hover Street. An adult male slapped an adult female. A report was taken.
CHILD
On Thursday, 08/26/2021, officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Sundance Dr. on the report of a disturbance and possible child abuse. An investigation was completed and determined to be unfounded.
THEFT
On August 26, 2021, the Longmont Police Department fielded a cold theft report from the 200 block of Alpine St. There are currently no leads at this time.
