WELFARE CHECK 

Police on Dec. 10 responded to the 1300 block of Grant Street in reference to a welfare check. A 12-year-old boy was contacted.

AUTO THEFT 

On Dec. 11 at approximately 2244 hours, police responded to the 3200 block Lake Park Way on a report of shots heard. A vehicle was located in the 2000 block Mariner Drive with evidence a bullet had been fired from it. The vehicle was an unreported steal from the 4500 block Redmond Drive. A woman was arrested for an existing case and for this case.

HARASSMENT 

Police on Dec. 12 were dispatched to a report of harassment in the 1000 block of Corey Street. A 41-year-old woman reported she was harassed by her daughter's ex-boyfriend's family members. 

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

Police on Dec. 12 responded to the 200 block of Kimbark Street in reference to a domestic disturbance between a man and woman. Police collected the available information and a report was taken.

SEX ASSAULT 

An officer on Dec. 10 received a report of a possible sexual assault that occurred in the 900 block of Grandview Meadows Drive. The case is open.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT 

Police on Dec. 11 responded to the 900 block of Wolf Creek Drive in response to a possible suicidal woman. She was contacted and taken to a local hospital to be evaluated.

DEATH 

Police and the Boulder County Coroner's Office on Dec. 11 completed a joint death investigation in south Longmont.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT 

Police, a CORE team and the fire department on Dec. 11 responded to the 2000 block of Sunset Way on a report of a suicidal man. The man was taken into protective custody and transported to a nearby hospital, where he was placed on a mental health hold.

DISTURBANCE 

Police on Dec. 12 were dispatched to a disturbance in the 1700 block of Main Street. Upon investigation, it was determined a man knowingly and intentionally damaged the car of another man. The suspect will be charged accordingly.

HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT 

Officers on Dec. 12 responded to the 1800 block of Hover Street on a report of a hit-and-run accident. A woman’s vehicle was hit in the parking lot. A report was taken.

CIVIL 

Officers on Dec. 12 responded to a request for a civil standby in the 1800 block of Shavano Street.

WARRANT ARREST 

Police on Dec. 12 arrested a man on an outstanding warrant near the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Martin Street.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF IN PROGRESS 

Officers on Dec. 12 responded to the 700 block of Darby Court on the report of slashed tires. The suspect is known to the victim. A warrant is being obtained.
