DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On Dec. 20 at approximately 1100 hours, an officer took a report in reference to domestic violence phone harassment that occurred in another jurisdiction.

DUI 

On Dec. 20 at approximately 1234 hours, the Longmont Emergency Communications Center was notified of an injury crash near Pace Street and East Mountain View Avenue. A man was arrested for DUI and was later transported to the Boulder County Jail.

CIVIL 

Police on Dec. 16 responded to the 2500 block of Sunset Drive on a report of a burglary. After investigation, it was determined the issue was a civil matter. Two men involved were informed of the civil process available through the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.

SHOPLIFT 

Police on Dec. 19 were called to a business in the 500 block of South Hover Street for shoplifting in progress. Asset protection staff observed a woman skip scanning several items in the self-checkout. Staff conducted an investigation and discovered the woman has done this same thing on at least 11 other occasions, totaling more than $1,100 in theft. The woman has not been identified and this case is open pending further investigation.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On Dec. 19 at approximately 1254 hours, police responded to the 300 block of Ninth Avenue.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

Officers on Dec. 19 responded to the 1900 block of Mountain View Avenue for a domestic incident. Case closed.

WARRANT ARREST 

An officer on Dec. 20 contacted four people for trespassing in the 1100 block of South Hover Street. The case is cleared by arrest.

HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT 

A car on Dec. 20 hit a loose dog at Kimbark Street and Third Avenue and did not stay on the scene.

AUTO THEFT 

On Dec. 20 at approximately 1323 hours, officers were dispatched to a theft that occurred at 1800 block Juniper Street.

DEATH 

On Dec. 20 around 1600 hours, police responded to a medical assist in the 1300 block of South Pratt Parkway. A man was pronounced dead on the scene. This case is under investigation.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION 

On Dec. 20 at approximately 1715 hours, officers contacted a woman by phone regarding a suspicious incident that occurred in the area of 17th Avenue and Weld County Road 1. The incident was documented.

SHOPLIFT 

On Dec. 20 at approximately 1650 hours, officers were dispatched to a theft that occurred in the 2500 block of Main Street.

SHOPLIFT 

Officers on Dec. 20 responded to the 500 block of South Hover Street for shoplifting. A summons was issued.

DUI 

Officers on Dec. 20 conducted a traffic stop at 17th Avenue and Main Street. A man was arrested.
