AUTO THEFT 

On Dec. 21 about 1803 hours, officers handled a cold auto theft in the 600 block of 10th Avenue. A man reported a 1998 white Chevy S10 was stolen.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS 

A resident on Dec. 21 reported criminal trespassing and theft in the 2200 block of 14th Avenue. There are no investigative leads.

CITIZEN ASSIST 

Officers on Dec. 21 responded to an apartment in the 1200 block of Pace Street for a medical assist. A woman was placed on a mental health hold. 

THEFT 

A resident on Dec. 21 reported a theft in the 1500 block of Sixth Avenue. There are no investigative leads.

DRUG VIOLATION 

Officers on Dec. 21 were dispatched to a theft that occurred in the 2500 block of Main Street. 

THEFT 

On Oct. 30, police began investigating an allegation of fraud against the Longmont Housing Authority. This case remains under investigation.

PROTECTION ORDER 

On Dec. 19 at approximately 2329 hours, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of 15th Avenue regarding a protection order violation in progress involving a man and woman. The man was arrested for violation of a protection order, domestic violence and harassment.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

Police on Dec. 20 were dispatched to the 2500 block of Main Street for a domestic violence incident. It was reported that a man and woman had been in a physical altercation in the area. After investigating, officers took the man into custody without incident.

AUTO THEFT 

On Dec. 21 at approximately 0334 hours, officers located a stolen vehicle in the area of Lashley Street and Elk Place. The case is cleared by arrest

FOLLOW-UP 

Police on Dec. 21 began investigating a man for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains under investigation.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

On Dec. 21 at approximately 0815 hours, police responded to Sandstone Ranch regarding a criminal mischief incident. A report was generated. No suspects have been identified.

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE 

Police on Dec. 21 responded to Ninth Avenue and Coffman Street in reference to a runaway. A girl was arrested and taken to Boulder County Juvenile Detention Center.

VICIOUS DOG 

A child was bitten by a neighbor's dog on Dec. 21. The dog was placed in quarantine in the owner's home.

ASSAULT 

On Dec. 21 at approximately 1538 hours, officers responded to a report of an assault in the 1700 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard. A woman alleged she was assaulted at the location.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

Officers on Dec. 21 responded to the 2000 block of Sunset Way for a domestic incident. Case cleared by arrest.

CIVIL 

Officers on Dec. 21 investigated a motor vehicle theft in the 2500 block of Mountain View Avenue. Officers are continuing the investigation.

AUTO THEFT 

Officers on Dec. 21 received a report of a vehicle stolen from the 1500 block of Foster Court.
