MENACING 

Police on Dec. 30 took a report of menacing that occurred in October. The case is still under investigation.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS 

A resident on Jan. 4 reported a theft from his unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of Townley Circle. There are no investigative leads.

ASSAULT 

On Jan. 3 at approximately 2217 hours, officers were dispatched to a possible assault in the 1400 block of Dry Creek Drive. This case is cleared by arrest.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION 

Police on Jan. 3 took a report of a suspicious note left in the lobby of the Safety and Justice Center, 225 Kimbark St.

SHOPLIFT 

An employee on Jan. 4 reported a theft from a business in the 2500 block of Main Street. The case is under investigation.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

A resident on Jan. 4 reported vandalism in the 1600 block of Kimbark Street. There are no investigative leads.

THEFT 

A Frederick resident on Jan. 4 reported a theft in the 2200 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard. There are no investigative leads.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

Officers on Jan. 4 took a report of a domestic violence incident that occurred in the 1400 block of South Collyer Street in January 2020. The case is open for further investigation.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT 

Police and the CORE team on Jan. 4 responded to the 2200 block of 14th Avenue on a report of a suicidal man with a handgun. The man was placed in protective custody and transported to a nearby hospital for a mental health evaluation.

BURGLARY 

On Jan. 4 at approximately 1708 hours, police were dispatched to a theft in the 700 block of Main Street.  A report was taken.

BURGLARY 

Officers on Jan. 3 took a report of a burglary in the 800 block of South Sherman Street. A man reported several items were stolen from his storage unit.

AUTO THEFT 

Police on Jan. 4 took a report of a vehicle stolen from the 700 block of Francis Street.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On Jan. 2 at approximately 0104 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Redtail Court regarding an active domestic violence incident involving a man and woman. The man was later located and arrested for violating a protection order.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

Police on Jan. 2 responded to the 600 block of Peck Drive in reference to a domestic incident. The incident is under investigation.

DUI 

On Jan. 3 at approximately 1507 hours, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Pace Street. A man was arrested for DUI. 

DUI 

Police on Jan. 3 responded to an accident in the 300 block of Hover Street. A man was found to be intoxicated and was arrested.

TRAFFIC STOP 

Officers on Jan. 3 conducted a traffic stop during which a K9 alerted to possible drugs. Meth and heroin were found on one occupant of the vehicle and drug paraphernalia was found in the vehicle. Summonses were issued. An additional summons was issued to a woman for a separate case in which shoes were stolen from DSW.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST 

Longmont officers on Jan. 4 assisted the Loveland Police Department with an investigation into a man who failed to register as a sex offender. This report is for informational purposes only.

THEFT 

An employee on Jan. 4 reported the theft of catalytic converters from a business in the 900 block of Lashley Street. There are no investigative leads.

VICIOUS DOG 

A juvenile on Jan. 4 was bitten by a dog in his home. The dog was placed on bite quarantine in the owner's home.

HARASSMENT 

Police on Jan. 4 took a report of harassment in the 600 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard.
