SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On January 17th, 2021, Officers reported to a suspicious incident that occurred in the 500 block of Baker Street. Stolen packages were located. No known suspect information is available at this time.

MENACING

On Sunday, 01/17/2021 at about 1:32 p.m., officers from the Longmont Police Department responded to 911 calls regarding a juvenile throwing rocks at customers in the 1600 block of Pace Street which turned out to be a theft in progress. A 36 year old female was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of minors, child abuse and theft related charges. Her 12 year old son was arrested with menacing, harassment and theft related charges and another 16 year old male was released to a parent on a summons for two thefts. Cases cleared by multiple arrests.

THEFT

On 01/17/2021 at approximately 1740 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to a theft that occurred in the 200 block of Ken Pratt Blvd Longmont, Co. A report was taken.

DISTURBANCE

On January 16, 2021, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of 24th Ave reference a disturbance. It was reported that an adult male had tried to take a cell phone from a juvenile male in the area. No suspects were located in the area and the victim was not able to identify the adult male. There are no suspects in this case.

TRAFFIC STOP

On Friday, 01/15/21, Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a silver pick up truck near the intersection of 4th Avenue and Alpine Street. The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed and eluded officers. The vehicle and driver was found near the 800 block of Elliot Street. Driver was issued a felony summons.

SHOPLIFT

On 1/16/21, officers responded to the 500 block of S Hover Street on the report of shoplift in progress. An adult female was contacted and released on a summons.

CHILD

On 01/16/2021, Longmont officers responded to the 900 block of Longs Peak Ave on a disturbance. Case closed.

INFORMATION

On January 16, 2021 Officers responded to the 300 block of Coffman Street for a medical call where a male had fallen. The male was transported to the hospital for his injuries.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On Saturday 01/16/2021 at approximately 2328 hours police responded to the 1300 block South Grant Street in relation to a suicide attempt. A juvenile female was taken to hospital and placed on a mental health hold.

DEATH

On 01/17/21 an elderly female died of apparent natural causes in the 1600 block of Sherman Way.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On January 17th, 2021 at approximately 1510 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to an arson in the 1700 block of Main Street Longmont, CO. An adult male was issued a summons.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On Sunday January 17th, 2020, Longmont Police officers received a report of a suicidal party in the 2200 block of 14th Avenue. An adult female was contacted and placed on a mental health hold.

THEFT

On January 17, 2021, the Longmont Police Department took a report of a theft in the 900 block of Main Street. There are no suspects at this time.
