On 07/11/2022, Longmont police contacted an adult male in a city park after hours. The male was arrested for outstanding arrest warrants. Case was cleared by arrest.
WARRANT ARREST
On 07/12/2022, officers with The Longmont Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of Ninth Avenue and Brookside Drive. Narcotics were discovered and a male party was arrested on outstanding warrants.
VICIOUS DOG
A Longmont man was bitten by the family dog in the 1000 block of Lee Way. The dog was euthanized and sent in for testing.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On 07/12/22, officers responded to a welfare check in the 1900 block of Cambridge Drive. An adult female appeared to have been assaulted and she was yelling for help. An adult male was later arrested. Case cleared by arrest.
WARRANT ARREST
On Tuesday, 07/12/2022, Longmont Police officers responded to the area of Mountain View Avenue and Alpine Street in reference to a wanted party on scene. An adult male was contacted and arrested without incident.
OTHER AGENCY ASSIST
On 07/12/2022 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 200 block of Main Street for an outside agency assist regarding an unauthorized absence for one adult male.
ASSIST
On 07/07/2022 the Longmont Police Department spoke with a concerned adult male party regarding sexting between two juveniles in the 200 Block of Kimbark Street. No crimes were established.
SEX ASSAULT
On 07/09/2022, an officer was dispatched to the 2400 block of Pratt Street on a sex assault. A report was taken.
INJURY ACCIDENT
On 07/11/22, Longmont Police and Fire responded to the intersection of Ken Pratt Boulevard and Industrial Circle on a report of an injury accident involving one car and one motorcycle. An adult male was transported to an area hospital. This case is still under investigation.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On July 11, Longmont Police responded to the 300 block of Lashley Street on a report of an adult male breaking a window. A report was taken.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On Monday, July 11, officers responded to a domestic incident in the 400 block of Emery Street and took a report.
WARRANT ARREST
On 07/12/22, Longmont Police investigated a shoplift in the 2200 block of Main Street. A suspect was located in the 1900 block of Collyer Street and arrested for outstanding warrants. Case is cleared by arrest.
ASSIST
On 07/12/22, Longmont Police investigated an allegation of neglect of an at-risk person in the 2300 block of 12th Avenue. A report was taken and forwarded to the Department of Health and Human Services.
DEATH
On 07/12/2022, the Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1400 Block of Twin Sisters Drive in reference to a Medical Assist. A report was completed.
AUTO THEFT
On 07/12/2022, Longmont officers took a report of a stolen vehicle in the 1600 block of Hover Street.
HARASSMENT
On Tuesday, 07/12/2022, Longmont Police responded to the 2500 block of Sunset Drive on a report of harassment. An adult male and adult female were contacted. No law enforcement action was taken.
