ARSON 

On July 15, Longmont police and fire responded to a dumpster fire in the 800 block of 17th Avenue. There are no suspects at this time.

THEFT 

A resident in the 500 block of Mount Evans Street on July 15 reported a theft of his license plate. There are no investigative leads.

THEFT 

A Gansevoort, New York, resident on July 15 reported the license plate was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in the 1900 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard. There are no investigative leads.

WARRANT ARREST 

On July 15, Longmont officers responded to the 700 block of Main Street on a report of a hazard. A man was contacted walking in the middle of the road. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant. This case is cleared by arrest.

VICIOUS DOG 

A Longmont man was bitten by a dog on July 15 while at work in the 100 block of South Main Street. The dog was placed on home quarantine.

INFORMATION 

The Longmont Police Department on July 15 completed an informational report on an incident that occurred in the northwest part of the city. Case is closed.

THEFT 

On July 15, officers were contacted at 1900 Ken Pratt Parkway in reference to a stolen license plate. A report was taken.

THEFT 

A resident in the 1300 block of Emery Street on July 15 reported the theft of his license plate. The license plate was recovered.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On July 15, Longmont officers responded to the 1400 block of 17th Avenue in reference to a domestic incident. Case cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On July 15 at 2114 hours, Longmont police responded to the 1200 block of Holly Avenue on a report of a domestic incident. This case is under investigation.

VICIOUS DOG 

A Longmont woman on July 12 reported a loose dog attacked her dog in the 1500 block of Main Street. The two dogs got into a fight and both were injured. The owner of the loose dog  will be issued a summons for the incident.

HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT 

On July 14 at approximately 1845 hours, officers responded to the 1500 block of Main Street on a report of a hit-and-run involving a pickup truck pulling an RV and several parked vehicles. Case is open.

VICIOUS DOG 

On July 14, Longmont police responded to a vicious dog in the 1000 block of Alta Street. A 41-year-old man reported his dog was attacked and injured. The case is open.

WELFARE CHECK 

On July 15, officers responded to the 1300 block of Collyer Street for a welfare check of a man who was arrested.

BURGLARY 

On July 15, the police investigated a theft that occurred in the 200 block of East Eighth Avenue.

WARRANT ARREST 

On July 15 at approximately 1800 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to University Drive  in reference to a party with an active arrest warrant. Police contacted a man. The case is cleared by arrest.

DISTURBANCE 

On July 15 at approximately 1717 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to a disturbance in the 600 block of South Emery Street. A woman was taken into protective custody on a mental health hold.
