AUTO THEFT 

A Longmont resident on July 16 reported a motor vehicle theft in the 1600 block of Pace Street. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST 

The Longmont Police Department on July 16 received a request from an outside agency to assist it with issuing a summons in the 800 block of Parklane Avenue. 

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On July 16 at approximately 0849 hours, Longmont police investigated a domestic incident in the 1400 block of South Collyer Street.

FRAUD 

An owner of a business in the 400 block of Coffman Street on July 16 reported an incident of cyber-crime. The case is under investigation.

PROTECTION ORDER 

On July 16 at approximately 1327 hours, Longmont police investigated a protection order violation in the 200 block of Baker Street.

WELFARE CHECK 

On July 16, Longmont officers made a phone call in reference to a welfare check. Case has been referred to Boulder County Department of Health and Human Services.

WELFARE CHECK 

On July 16 around 1700 hours, officers were contacted by a mandatory reporter related to an incident with a patient. A report was taken.

THEFT 

On July 16, Longmont officers took a report of a license plate theft from the 100 block of South Main Street.

WARRANT ARREST 

On July 16 at approximately 2120 hours, Longmont police responded to the 1400 block of Hunter Court on a littering complaint. A 51-year-old man was arrested on multiple warrants and transported to the Boulder County Jail.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT 

On July 14 at approximately 1855 hours, officers responded to the lobby of the Longmont Police Department on the report of a suicidal woman, who was taken into protective custody and transported to a local facility for further evaluation.

HARASSMENT 

Longmont police on July 15 investigated harassment in the 1300 block of Merl Place. Case is open.

VICIOUS DOG 

On July 15, a Longmont man was issued a summons for his dog being loose on his neighbors’ property.

SHOPLIFT 

On July 16, a report was taken in reference to a theft that occurred in the 500 block of South Hover Street. The suspect is unknown.

TRAFFIC STOP 

On July 16, officers responded to Denise Place and Sherri Mar Street in reference to a traffic stop. Three juveniles were issued citations related to marijuana possession. The case is cleared by arrest and summons.

HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT 

On July 16, Longmont police responded to the 2300 block of Lincoln Street on the report of a hit-and-run.  A vehicle was struck by another vehicle driven by a man who was under the influence. The man was arrested.

FRAUD 

On July 16 at approximately 1450 hours, Longmont police responded to the 200 block of Third Avenue in reference to a forgery. No suspect was identified.

BURGLARY 

On July 16 at approximately 1500 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Ninth Avenue in reference to a burglary. Police contacted a man and woman. The case is open.

BURGLARY 

On July 16 at approximately 1415 hours, Longmont police responded to the 1900 block of Main Street on report of an attempted burglary. A 37-year-old man was arrested on scene, and transported to jail on warrants and burglary charges.

HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT 

On July 16 at 1931 hours, Longmont police responded to the 2000 block of Estes Lane on a report of a hit-and-run accident. A 19-year-old woman’s vehicle was damaged while it sat in a parking lot.
