SHOPLIFT

An employee of a Longmont business reported theft in the 1700 block of Hover Street.

BURGLARY

On 070220, officers responded to the 1000 block of Ponderosa Cir reference an attempted burglary involving a juvenile female suspect.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Longmont City employee reported vandalism in the 1800 block of Creekside Dr. There are no investigative leads.

FRAUD

An email phishing scam was reported by a local business in the 2100 block of Gay Street. There are no investigative leads.

DEATH INVESTIGATION

On 07/02/2020, Longmont Police responded to the 0 block of 21st Ave in reference to a death investigation. An adult male was located deceased.

THEFT

On Thursday, July 2, 2020 at about 2230 hours, Longmont Police took a report of a theft that occurred in the 1000 block of 16th AVe.

SHOPLIFT

On 6/27/2020 Officers responded to the 300 block of Ken Pratt Blvd on report of a theft. No suspects have been identified.

BURGLARY

On Wednesday, July 1, 2020 Longmont Police took a report of a burglary to a business in the 700 block of Ken Pratt bl. The suspects are unknown.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On 07/01/20 Longmont Police responded to the 1900 blk of Fountain Ct on a report of a suicidal juvenile female. The female was contacted and placed into protective custody. She was transported to a nearby hospital and placed on a mental health hold.

PROTECTION ORDER

On 7/1/20, an officer responded to the area of Lashley St/9th Ave on the report of a protection order violation. The violation was not able to be substantiated.

MISSING PERSON

On 07/02/2020, Longmont Police responded to the 2700 block of E Ken Pratt Blvd on the report of a runaway. A juvenile male left his residence voluntarily and was unable to be located.

THEFT

An employee of a Longmont business reported theft in the 1000 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

DISTURBANCE

On 07/02/2020 at 1508 hours, Longmont Police responded to the 1300 block of S Lincoln St on report of a disturbance. A 29 year old male was in a verbal altercation with his 63 year old mother, who is also his caregiver. During the altercation, the male attempted to set fire to a table in the garage. The male was issued a felony summons, and placed on a mental health hold without incident.

HARASSMENT

On Thursday, July 2, 2020 at about 1700 hours, Longmont Police took a report of harassment that occurred in the 1600 block of Sumner Street.

MENACING

On 07/02/2020 at 1818 hours, Longmont Police responded to the 2100 block of Bowen St on report of a felony menacing that occurred. An unknown male suspect pulled a knife out of his vehicle after confronting a 57 year old male for an unknown reason. This case is currently under investigation.
