LITTERING

An employee of a Longmont business on July 20 reported littering in the 600 block of Grandview Meadows Drive. This case is open.

THEFT 

On July 19, officers responded to a follow-up investigation for an earlier accusation of theft in the 1400 block of South Collyer Street. An investigation was conducted and a report was generated.

CHILD 

The Longmont Police Department on July 20 received information from Crime Stoppers regarding a sexual assault. This case is under investigation.

FRAUD 

On July 20, Longmont officers responded to the 1900 block of Main Street for a fraud. An unknown female attempted to purchase food with a counterfeit $50 bill.

TRAFFIC STOP 

On July 20 around 2230 hours, Longmont police attempted to stop a black Jaguar sedan in the 300 block of Collyer Street. The vehicle eluded police and a report was taken.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST 

Members of the Boulder County Regional Bomb Squad, which includes some members of the Longmont Department of Public Safety, on July 13 responded to assist Nederland police and the Boulder County Sheriff's Office on a search warrant at 283 Alpine Drive in Nederland, in which explosive devices were found.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION 

On July 18, Longmont officers responded to Ash Court for a suspicious situation. A girl was contacted and a report was taken.

FOLLOW UP 

During a July 18 response to a suspicious situation on Ash Court, a vehicle that was reported stolen from Denver was found and cleared.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

On July 20 at approximately 0808 hours, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Quail Road.

MEDICAL 

On July 19 at approximately 2246 hours, officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Goss Drive regarding a medical assist for a man. Officers learned the man was very intoxicated and requested to be placed on a detox hold. He was later transported to detox.

DISTURBANCE 

On July 19, Longmont police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Atwood Street on the report of a disturbance. A man violated his bail bond conditions and was arrested.

VICIOUS DOG 

A man was bitten by a dog in the 600 block of Terry Street on July 20. The dog was placed on home quarantine and the owner was issued a summons.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On July 20, officers investigated a protection order violation. The case is open.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS 

On July 20, Longmont officers received a call regarding a first-degree criminal trespass to a vehicle in the 1200 block of Ninth Avenue. There are no leads.

DISTURBANCE 

On July 20, Longmont police responded to the 600 block of Peck Drive in reference to a fight between uncle and niece. Both parties were contacted and no charges were pursued.

STABBING 

On July 20 at approximately 2000 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the police department in reference to a reported stabbing. Police contacted a woman. The victim did not wish to pursue charges and the case is closed.
