SHOPLIFT

An employee of a Longmont resident reported theft in the 500 block of South Hover Street. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

ASSAULT

On July 3, 2020, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Antero Dr reference an assault. It was reported that an adult male had assaulted another adult male in the area. While officers were responding the suspect assaulted a second adult male in the area. The adult male suspect was taken into custody without incident.

SEX ASSAULT

On July 3, 2020, officers took a report of an attempted sexual assault in the 1500 block of Main St. between an adult male and a juvenile female. A report was taken and forwarded to detectives.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at about 1900 hours, Officers with the Longmont Police Department were dispatched to a criminal mischief, located in the 300 Block of Quail Road, Longmont, CO. No suspect information at this time.

SEX ASSAULT 

On Thursday, 07-02-2020, Longmont Police investigated a sexual assault on a child that occured in 2006. This case is open and referred to the Detective Division.

ASSAULT

On 7/2/20 the Longmont Police Department investigated an assault in the 00 block of S. Main St., which occurred on 6/27/20. A suspect has been identified, and the case is open.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Thursday, July 2, 2020 at about 2140 hours, Officers with the Longmont Police Department were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 2400 Blk of Main Street, Longmont, CO. A male suspect was later contacted and arrested. The male was taken to the Boulder County Jail.

THEFT

On Friday 07/03/2020 at 0038 hours police responded to the 1000 block South Hover Street in relation to a theft that occurred approximately 2 hours before, later determined to be on Thursday 07/02/2020 at approximately 2138 hours. An adult male was issued a summons and the case is cleared by arrest.

AUTO THEFT

On Friday, 07/03/2020, Longmont Police Officers engaged in a traffic stop in the area of Ken Pratt Blvd and 3rd Ave. Later, two adult males and an adult female were contacted and arrested for auto theft.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On 07/03/2020 Longmont Police responded to a parking lot in the 600 block of Lashley St. in reference to a possible suspicious incident involving a couple males who have been on scene since the following evening. An adult male and a juvenile male were contacted. Police collected the available information and both the adult male and juvenile male were arrested on separate charges. Case cleared by arrest.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont woman was bit by her dog, the dog was placed on bite quarantine at home.

DISTURBANCE

On Friday, July 3, 2020 at about 1532 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of East 17th Ave on a report of harassment. Upon arrival officers contacted an adult male who was harassing neighbors and people on social media.

DUI 

On Friday, 07/03/20 at approximately 2143 hours, Longmont Police conducted a traffic stop in the 1600-block of Willodene Dr. An adult male was arrested for a felony DUI and he was transported to the Boulder County Jail. Case is cleared by arrest.
