DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On July 4, Longmont police officers responded to the area of 17th Avenue and East County Line Road in reference to a possible domestic violence incident. A man was contacted and later arrested.

ASSAULT 

On July 4 around 2010 hours, Longmont police responded to the 00 block of 21st Avenue on a report of an assault. A report was taken.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION 

On July 4 at approximately 2341 hours, police received a call for service in relation to an assault that occurred in the 600 block Blue Grass Drive. The circumstances are suspicious and the suspect has not been identified at this time.

WELFARE CHECK 

On July 5, officers responded to the 2000 block of Lashley Street for a welfare check. A woman was placed on a mental health hold.

AUTO THEFT 

On July 5, Longmont police officers responded to the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane in reference to a stolen car. Officers contacted a woman in the area who stated she had lost her keys a couple of days prior and today noticed her car had been stolen. There are no suspects in this case.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION 

On July 5, Longmont police investigated a suspicious incident in the 200 block of Terry Street. No victims or suspects were located, only a witness. This report will be for information only.

MISSING PERSON 

On July 5, police received a call for service in the 2200 block of Third Avenue in reference to a missing juvenile. Information was obtained and the form was completed.

ASSAULT 

On July 5, officers took a report of an assault that occurred on June 26 in the 000 block of South Main Street. This case is under investigation.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS 

On July 2 at approximately 2303 hours, an officer was dispatched on a phone call regarding a cold theft that occurred in the area of 119th Street and Colo. 119. The officer contacted an adult victim by phone and learned he had his backpack stolen with several items inside the backpack. At this time, there are no suspect leads.

FRAUD 

On July 3, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 500 block of South Hover Street on the report of abuse to an at-risk adult. A man was contacted. Case remains open for follow-up.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On July 3, Longmont police officers were dispatched to a cold domestic incident that occurred at the 900 block of Grandview Meadows Drive. A 26-year-old woman was later arrested on charges.

SHOTS HEARD 

On July 4, Longmont police took a report of a firearm discharged in the area of 21st Avenue and Spencer Street. There is no reason to believe they were shooting at anyone, and the incident occurred in the same timeframe as numerous fireworks. There are no suspects or workable leads.

SEX ASSAULT 

On July 4, Longmont police took a report of a possible sexual assault in the 2400 block of Pratt Street. This case is forwarded to detectives for follow-up.

DISTURBANCE 

On July 4, Longmont officers responded to the area of County Line Road and Zlaten Drive on a welfare check. One juvenile female was placed in protective custody. Case cleared with a protective arrest.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT 

A Longmont woman on July 4 was bitten by her dog. The dog has been placed on quarantine in the owner's home.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST 

On July 4 at 2217 hours, officers assisted the Longmont Fire Department with a fire at 22nd Avenue and Sherri Mar Street.

VICIOUS DOG 

On July 5, a Longmont woman was bitten by her neighbor's dog. The dog has been placed on quarantine in the owner's home.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On July 5, Longmont officers investigated a domestic violence incident in the 1100 block of East 17th Avenue. Case open.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On July 5, Longmont officers responded to the 1600 block of Main Street on a domestic incident. A man was arrested. Case cleared by arrest.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

On July 5, Longmont police responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 1600 block of Main Street. A report was taken.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On July 5, officers were dispatched along with the Longmont Fire Department for a suicide attempt. A woman was transported to Longmont United Hospital and admitted on a mental health hold.

WELFARE CHECK 

On July 5, Longmont police responded to the 1800 block of Hover Street for a welfare check. A woman was placed on a mental health hold. 

SHOOTING 

On July 5, officers responded to the 700 block of Oard Court on the report of a shooting. A man was transported with a gunshot wound. This case is under investigation.
