IDENTITY THEFT

THEFT 

A Longmont resident on July 7 reported a theft in the 1600 block of Hover Street. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

CODE ENFORCEMENT 

On July 4, a 33-year-old man was cited for swimming in Ralph Price Reservoir.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On July 7 at approximately 1456 hours, Longmont police responded to the area of Gay Street and Yeager Drive for a report of a disturbance. A 19-year-old woman was in an altercation with her 21-year-old husband. The woman was arrested on domestic violence charges for the incident, and the man was arrested on a warrant.

HARASSMENT 

On July 7, Longmont police responded to the 1900 block of Main Street on a report of a disturbance. A man shoved a juvenile male and was arrested.

THEFT 

On July 5, Longmont officers investigated a theft in the 1800 block of Ashford Circle. A woman had money stolen from her room by the house sitter. The case has been resolved between the victim and house sitter without criminal charges.

DUI 

On July 5 at 2155 hours, officers responded to the 1300 block of Dry Creek Drive in response to a domestic incident. An investigation was conducted and no domestic violence charges were filed, but a DUI arrest took place. Case is cleared by arrest.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS 

On July 6, an unknown male attempted to gain entry into a vehicle in the 2300 block of Wedgwood Avenue. The male did not gain access to the vehicle and fled on foot prior to police arriving.

BURGLARY 

An employee of a Centennial business on July 7 reported second-degree burglary and theft in the 3000 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

Longmont police on July 7 investigated criminal mischief in the 700 block of Hayden Court. Case is closed.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

On July 7 at approximately 0823 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to call two parties in reference to a traffic complaint alleging road-rage type activities. A man was later arrested for damaging property. Case cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST 

On July 7, officers responded to the 200 block of Kimbark Street regarding a man wanting to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant. He was contacted, taken into custody and later bonded out. Cleared by arrest.

DRUG VIOLATION 

On July 7, a Longmont resident was found to be in possession of methamphetamines during a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane. Case closed by arrest.

DISTURBANCE 

On July 7 at 2028 hours, Longmont police responded to the 3200 block of Lake Park Way on a report of a male throwing things and yelling in his apartment. A 36-year-old man was contacted outside of the apartment and was placed on a mental health hold without incident.
