HARASSMENT 

The Longmont Police Department on July 8 investigated a harassment complaint that occurred in the 600 block of Mountain View Avenue. Cleared by arrest.

MENACING 

On July 8 at approximately 1549 hours, Longmont police were dispatched on a report of a missing juvenile last seen in the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane. A juvenile male was contacted and arrested on felony charges.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST 

On July 8, the Longmont Police Department took a report of a domestic violence-related incident that reportedly occurred in Dacono. The information was transferred to the Dacono Police Department for further investigation.

PROTECTION ORDER 

On July 8, officers responded to the 800 block of Emery Street in reference to a protection order violation. A woman was taken into custody. The case is cleared by arrest.

PROTECTION ORDER 

On July 5, Longmont officers investigated a report of a protection order violation in the 800 block of Emery Street. A woman came to the residence in violation of a protection order. This case is open.

WELFARE CHECK 

On July 6, Longmont police responded to the 1400 block of Coffman Street on a report of a man trying to roll his wheelchair into traffic. The man was placed in protective custody and transported to a nearby hospital, where he was placed on a mental health hold.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT 

On July 6, police responded to a report of a suicidal juvenile female. She was placed in

protective custody and transported to a nearby hospital for a mental health hold.

HARASSMENT 

On July 7, a Longmont police officer was dispatched to a harassment report in the 1400 block of South Collyer Street. A juvenile male was contacted. There are no leads at this time.

THEFT 

A Thornton resident on July 7 reported a theft in the 900 block of Longs Peak Avenue. There are no investigative leads at this time.

CHILD VICTIM

On July 8, Longmont police received a call for service in reference to an attempted extortion in the 1200 block of Della Street. Information was obtained and the victim is a juvenile; no suspects developed.

SHOPLIFT 

On July 7, Longmont police responded to the 2200 block of Main Street on a shoplifting report. An unknown female stole items from a business. There are no suspects at this time.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

On July 7 at approximately 1800 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Main Street in reference to a criminal mischief. Police contacted two men. The case is currently closed.

ASSAULT 

On July 7 at approximately 1810 hours, officers were contacted by a mandatory reporter and advised an assault might have occurred in the 600 block of Buchanan Lane. The case was investigated and no crime occurred.

THEFT 

On July 8, a report was taken in reference to a theft that occurred in the 500 block of South Hover Street. The suspect is unknown.

MISSING PERSON 

On July 7 at approximately 2054 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane in reference to a missing juvenile. The juvenile was later located and returned home.

FRAUD 

An unknown suspect used a man's credit card information to make an unauthorized purchase. The incident location is unknown and the victim lives in Longmont. The incident is under investigation.

THEFT 

On July 8, Longmont police responded to the 600 block of Lashley Street for a theft investigation.  A man was contacted and issued a summons for theft.

WARRANT ARREST 

On July 8, officers responded to the 600 block of Lashley Street in response to a possible vehicle break-in. An investigation was conducted and a party contacted was arrested on a warrant. Case is cleared by arrest.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS 

On July 8 at approximately 0248 hours, officers investigated a report of a vehicle break-in the 200 block of Saint Clair Avenue. A suspect was developed and an officer will follow up with further investigation.

On July 8, officers responded to the 1800 block of Spencer Street in reference to a man entering multiple vehicles.

THEFT 

A Longmont resident on July 8 reported a theft from the 600 block of Fourth Avenue. There are no investigative leads.

AUTO THEFT 

A Superior resident on July 8 reported a theft in the 700 block of South Martin Street. There are no investigative leads at this time.

VICIOUS DOG 

A Longmont woman on July 8 was bitten while breaking up a dog fight in the 1300 block of Merl Place. The dog was placed on home quarantine.

PROTECTION ORDER 

On July 8, officers received a report of a protection order violation in the 1000 block of Collyer Street. Case is open pending further investigation.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST 

On July 8, officers responded to the 1500 block of Belmont Drive on a report of damage to property. An informational report was completed.

On July 8, a report was taken in reference to a criminal trespass that occurred in the 900 block of South Hover Street. The suspects are unknown.

On July 8 at approximately 1430 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Main Street in reference to a criminal mischief.  A man was contacted and the case is open.

On July 8, a report was taken in reference to a theft that occurred in the 500 block of South Hover Street. The suspect is unknown.

On July 8, a report was taken in reference to criminal mischief that occurred in the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane. The suspects are unknown.

THEFT 

On July 8 at approximately 1805 hours, Longmont police began investigating the theft of a firearm in the 10 block of Ninth Avenue. The case is under investigation.

WARRANT ARREST 

On July 8 at approximately 1830 hours, Longmont police arrested a 20-year-old woman in the 800 block of Emery Street on an outstanding warrant. This case is cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST 

On July 8, Longmont police responded to the 1800 block of Main Street on report of a transient sleeping on business property. The 35-year-old man was arrested on a warrant and released on a personal recognizance bond.
