Longmont police report: June 18, 2020

AUTO THEFT 

A Longmont resident reported an auto theft in the 1600 block of Main Street. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Longmont resident reported criminal mischief in the 900 block of Mountain View Avenue. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

DUI 

On June 18, officers responded to the intersection of Cranberry Court and Prairie Fire Circle for a welfare check. One adult male was contacted and arrested for DUI and narcotics-related charges. Case cleared by arrest.

BURGLARY 

On June 17 at approximately 2017 hours, officers responded to the 3800 block of Pike Road in reference to a possible burglary. A garage door locking mechanism had been damaged, no suspect information.

HARASSMENT 

On June 17 at about 2246 hours, officers were dispatched a name and number regarding a harassment. No charges at this time.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION 

On June 18,  the Longmont Police Department responded to a suspicious vehicle reported in the area of St Vrain  and Airport roads. The vehicle was seen at Ninth Avenue and Francis Street, but fled after multiple persons exited and ran. The adult driver, who was on probation, was later identified and contacted, warned for careless driving, and released. This report was taken for information for probation.

DUI 

On June 18, officers responded to a report of a drunk driver in the 1900 block of Mountain View Avenue. An adult male was contacted and arrested.

WARRANT ARREST 

On June 18, Longmont police responded to the 2000 block of Estes Lane on the report of a possible domestic disturbance. A male was contacted and found to have warrants. He was placed under arrest and transported to Boulder County Jail. This case is closed.

DISTURBANCE 

On June 18,  Longmont police responded to the 1300 block of Hilltop Drive on a report of a family disturbance. A report was taken for informational purposes only.

TRAFFIC STOP 

On June 18, Longmont police attempted to stop a female who was riding a low -powered scooter on the sidewalk in the 100 block of South Main Street. The female failed to stop and was unable to be located.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS 

On June 18, officers responded to the 900 block of Venice Street in  reference to a trespass of a vehicle. A report was taken and the area was searched.
