Longmont police report: June 5, 2020

THEFT

An employee of a Longmont business reported theft in the 1200 block of 3rd Avenue. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

FRAUD

On Friday 06/05/2020 at 1149 hours a Longmont Police Officer investigated a forgery which took place in the 800 block of Lashley Street in the city of Longmont. A Suspected counterfeit $10.00 bill was logged into property and evidence. There are no active leads in this case.

DUI

On Friday, 06/05/2020 Longmont Police Officers responded to the area of 5th Ave and Atwood St in reference to a possible DUI. An adult male was contacted and later arrested for DUI.

ASSAULT

On 06/05/2020, Longmont officers took a report of an at risk elder abuse in the 500 block of Bross Street. Case open.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Friday June 5, 2020 at approximately 2048 hours, Officers responded to the area of Martin Street and E. 2nd Ave in reference to a domestic violence call for service. A 56 year old male is in custody.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

A Greeley resident reported first degree criminal trespass and theft. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On 06/05/2020 the Longmont police responded to the area of 15th Ave and Hover St., reference a reported suicidal female. The reporting party advised that her juvenile sister was sending text messages indicating she was contemplating suicide. The juvenile female was located and taken

into protective custody without incident.

SEX ASSAULT

On 6/5/2020, Officers took a report of a cold sex assault which occurred at an unknown location in the City of Longmont between a male and female. A report was taken.

AUTO THEFT

A Longmont resident reported motor vehicle theft in the 600 block of East 5th Avenue. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

SHOPLIFT

The Longmont Police Department investigated a theft in the 1800 block of Hover St. The case is closed.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Friday, 06/5/20, a report was taken reference a criminal trespass which occurred in the 3000 E. Ken Pratt Blvd. The suspects are unknown.

On Friday, 06/05/20, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 500 Blk. of Main St. The suspects are unknown.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On June 5, 2020, officers took a report of a harassment in the 200 block of Kimbark St. between an adult male and an adult female. A report was taken.

FRAUD

On Friday, June 5, 2020 at about 2100 hours, Longmont Police took a report of a fraud. Officers were informed someone was attempting to use their credit card to make fraudulent purchases.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On 6/5/2020, Officers took a report of a criminal mischief which occurred on the 600 block of East Rodgers Road. No suspects have been identified at this time.
