OTHER AGENCY ASSIST 

An employee of a Longmont business reported theft and forgery in the 2100 block of Alpine Street.

THEFT

A Longmont resident reported theft in the 2500 block of Main Street. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

VICIOUS DOG

A man visiting from out of town was bitten by his friend's dog in the 4100 block of Hawthorne Place. The dog has been placed on quarantine.

WELFARE CHECK

On Thursday 03/02/2023 at approximately 1131 hours, police responded to the 4000 block of Ravenna Place in an attempt to locate a runaway juvenile. The female was later located in the 4500 block of Redmond Drive.

DISTURBANCE

On 03/02/2023, officers responded to the 2400 block of 9th Avenue regarding a disturbance. A report was taken.

CHILD ABUSE/NEGLECT

On 03/02/2023, an officer received a report from Frederick Police Department in reference to sexual exploitation of children over the internet. The victim resides in Longmont. Ongoing investigation at this time.

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

On February 02, 2023, at approximately 7:29 PM, a hit-and-run collision was reported involving two pickup trucks in the area of Martin Street and E 3rd Avenue. The suspect vehicle left the scene. Case is closed, no further leads on suspect vehicle at this time.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at approximately 1200 hrs, Longmont police responded to the 1000 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard for a disturbance. An Alabama man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence charges. An Alabama woman was arrested on outstanding warrants. This case is cleared by arrest.

DUI 

On 03/02/2023 Longmont officers responded to an injury accident in at Lashley Street and E. 15th Avenue. An adult male was arrested.

BURGLARY

On 3/2/2023, Longmont police responded to the 2700 block of Nelson Road for a cold burglary report. A suspect damaged windows to enter a business and steal a laptop computer.

FRAUD

On Thursday, 3/2/23, a report was taken reference an identity theft in the 1800 block of S. Hover Street, which did not occur in Longmont.

ANIMAL FOLLOW UP

A Longmont man was cited for cruelty to animals in the 100 block of Saint Clair Avenue.

FRAUD

On Thursday, 3/2/23, a report was taken in reference to theft of an at risk adult in the 800 block of Busch Street. The case is under investigation.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Thursday, 3/2/23, a report of a criminal mischief occurred in the 700 block of 21st Avenue. The report is for insurance purposes.

HARASSMENT

On Thursday, March 02, 2023, an officer was dispatched to a cold harassment, which occurred on February 28, 2023, in the 600 block of Martin Street. A suspect was identified and interviewed. This case is unfounded and closed. A report was taken for informational purposes.

TRESPASS

On Thursday, March 2, 2023, at about 1618 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Main Street on a report of a trespassing. Upon arrival, officers arrested an adult female for an active warrant. Case cleared by arrest.

LOST PROPERTY

On March 2, 2023, Longmont officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Kimbark Street on the report of lost property. A report was taken.

MENACING

On 3/2/2023 at approximately 0650 hours, officers responded to a disturbance in the 2000 block of Sunset Way. An adult female was arrested.
