DRUG VIOLATION 

Police on Nov. 13 stopped a vehicle in the 1200 block of Juniper Street for a registration violation. Upon contacting the driver and passenger, it was discovered the driver had an active felony warrant for his arrest. The driver was taken into custody without incident. The passenger was found to have active warrants for his arrest and a quantity of narcotics in his possession. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of additional narcotics. The driver was transported to the Weld County Jail, and the passenger was issued a summons and released at the scene.

THEFT 

A report was taken Nov. 13 in reference to a theft that occurred in the 1800 block of Main Street. The case is under investigation.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF IN PROGRESS 

Officers on Nov. 13 were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Collyer Street on a report of a disturbance. This investigation is ongoing.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On Nov. 12 at about 0704 hours, police responded to the 2100 block of Dexter Drive on a domestic violence incident. This case is unfounded due to the victim retracting statements.

DRUG VIOLATION 

On Nov. 12 at about 1116 hours, police responded to the 2100 block of Main Street for a report of shoplifting involving two women. There was not enough evidence to prove there was shoplifting, but drugs were found on one of the suspects.

INJURY ACCIDENT 

On Nov. 12  at about 1800 hours, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Lashley Street for a report of an auto vs. pedestrian crash. The pedestrian was later taken to the hospital with injuries.

AUTO THEFT 

A report was taken Nov. 13 in reference to aggravated auto theft and theft that occurred in the 1500 block of Ninth Avenue. The suspects are unknown.

INJURY ACCIDENT 

On Nov. 13 at approximately 0916 hours, police responded to an injury crash at the intersection of South Hover Street and Clover Basin Drive. A man was arrested for vehicular assault, DUI and other traffic charges. Case cleared by arrest.

DEATH 

Police on Nov. 13 responded to the 00 block of Marshall Place on the report of a man who was not conscious and not breathing.

WELFARE CHECK 

Officers and the CORE team on Nov. 13 contacted two women in the lobby of the Police Department, 225 Kimbark St. The women were found to be suffering from mental health crises related to substance abuse and later transported to nearby hospitals for evaluations.

BURGLARY 

A report was taken Nov. 13 in reference to a burglary and theft that occurred in the 700 block of Picket Lane. The suspects are unknown.

WARRANT ARREST 

Police on Nov. 13 assisted with a warrant arrest. A man was taken into custody on an outstanding domestic violence warrant. Cleared by arrest

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

Officers on Nov. 13 took a report of a protection order violation involving a man and woman. A warrant will be written for the man.

SHOPLIFT 

Officers on Nov. 13 were dispatched to active shoplifting in the 500 block of South Hover Street. A 29-year-old woman was contacted and issued a summons.

DISTURBANCE 

On Nov. 13 at approximately 1954 hours, officers responded to the 1200 block of Tulip Street in reference to a disturbance. A 15-year-old girl and her 32-year-old mother got into a physical fight.
