FRAUD 

A business owner in the 1600 block of Pace Street on Sept. 3 reported business checks were forged. There are no investigative leads at this time.

FRAUD 

On Sept. 2, police responded to the 1600 block of Flemming Drive in reference to a report of a theft. An 82-year-old woman fell victim to a financial scam. The case is closed.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS 

On Sept. 2, police took a report of a theft from a vehicle. All available information obtained.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT 

On Sept. 3, police responded to the 3000 block of Lake Park Way in reference to a suicidal party. A woman reportedly attempted to harm herself with a knife during an argument with a man. The woman was taken into protective custody without incident and was transported to Longmont United Hospital for a mental health evaluation.

BURGLARY 

On Sept. 3, officers responded to the 4400 block of Redmond Drive in reference to a burglary.  

WARRANT ARREST 

On Sept. 3, police recovered a stolen vehicle in the 00 block of James Circle. A 28-year-old man was taken into custody. This case is cleared by arrest.

DRUG VIOLATION 

On Sept. 3 at about 0741 hours, police received a call about a suspicious package containing drugs in the 200 block of Golden Rod Court. The package was retained and the investigation is ongoing.

WARRANT ARREST 

On Sept. 3 at 1531 hours,  a juvenile male, accompanied by his father, turned himself in on an active warrant. The juvenile was taken into custody on the warrant, booked,

and released on bond with a return court date. The case was cleared by arrest.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

On July 16, police responded to the 600 block of 19th Avenue in reference to a report of criminal mischief. A 43-year-old man reported damage to his semi.

WELFARE CHECK 

On Aug. 31 at approximately 1737 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of South Hover Street on the report of a man having a mental health crisis.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

A woman reported a domestic violence incident that occured on July 26. The woman now lives in Texas and wanted it documented. The investigation resulted in an arrest warrant for the suspect, who is her husband.

TRAFFIC COMPLAINT 

On Sept. 3, police took a driving complaint near Ken Pratt Boulevard and South Martin Street. A red Pontiac sedan was reported as driving recklessly, nearly hitting a vehicle.

WARRANT ARREST 

On Sept. 2, officers responded to the 200 block of Lashley Street looking for a man with multiple warrants. The man was apprehended and the case is cleared by arrest.

WELFARE CHECK 

On Sept. 2, police responded to the 200 block of S Main Street on a report of a suicidal woman. The woman was contacted and later taken into protective custody. She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was placed on a mental health hold.

PROTECTION ORDER 

On Sept. 2 at approximately 2149 hours, police investigated a possible restraining order violation. All available information was obtained and an information report was completed.

BURGLARY 

On Sept. 3, police took a report of a cold attempted burglary in the 700 block of Wade Road. No suspect information. Case is closed.

MENACING 

On Sept. 3, police concluded an ongoing investigation into a menacing that occurred online between several juveniles. Case cleared by referral to Longmont Community Justice Partnership.

FRAUD 

An employee of a company in the 1700 block of Hover Street on Sept. 3 reported an incident of forgery. There are investigative leads.

WELFARE CHECK 

On Sept. 3 at approximately 1539 hours, officers took a report of bike theft in the 900 block of Longs Peak Avenue.

DISTURBANCE 

Officers on Sept. 3 responded to the 1300 block of Cumberland Drive on a report of a family disturbance involving two men and a woman. No enforcement action was taken, this report was taken for information purposes only.

FRAUD 

On Sept. 3, police took a report of a fraud in the 2000 block of Collyer Street.

SEX ASSAULT 

On Sept. 3 at about 2000 hours, officers were dispatched to the area of 15th Avenue and Main Street for a disturbance. The individuals were contacted.

MISSING PERSON 

On Sept. 3, police investigated a missing girl/runaway. The girl was eventually located and safely returned to her home.
