SHOPLIFT 

An employee of a business in the 1200 block of South Hover Street on Sept. 8 reported a theft.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

A resident in the 700 block of Martin Street on Sept. 8 reported damage to a window of his home. There are no investigative leads.

AUTO THEFT 

A resident on Sept. 8 reported auto theft in the 400 block of Baker Street. There are no investigative leads or viable suspect information at this time.

DUI 

On Sept. 8, police initiated a traffic stop in the 600 block of Emery Street. The driver was arrested for driving under the Influence.

DRUG VIOLATION 

On Sept. 8 at about 0727 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Sherman Street on a welfare check. A 51-year-old man was arrested on several charges after he was found to be in possession of stolen property and methamphetamine. He was later released on a summons. Case cleared by arrest.

INFORMATION 

On Sept. 8, police took a report of a sexual assault that occurred in 1999 in California. The report was forwarded to the appropriate agency.

THEFT 

On Sept. 8, a resident reported a theft in the 1600 block of Meeker Drive. There are no investigative leads.

THEFT 

On Sept. 8, an employee reported a theft at a business in the 600 block of South Emery Street.

WARRANT ARREST 

On Sept. 8, a juvenile male wanted to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant in the 200 block of Kimbark Street. The male was taken into custody and later released on bond. Cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On Sept. 8, police investigated a domestic violence-related disturbance in the 1800 block of Emery Street. A woman was arrested and transported to the Boulder County Jail. This case is cleared by arrest.

ASSAULT 

On Sept. 8, police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Sherman Drive in reference to an assault. Information was obtained and a suspect was developed.

BURGLARY 

On Sept. 3 at about 1053 hours, it was reported that an unknown man entered an unlocked residence in the 800 block of Grand View Meadows Drive. When confronted by the owner, the man fled apologizing, saying he thought it was his parents' house.

WELFARE CHECK 

On Sept. 5 approximately 0735 hours, police responded to a welfare check in the 1700 block of Hover Street.

HARASSMENT 

On Sept. 5 at approximately 1511 hours, police responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard.

FRAUD 

A resident on Sept. 7 reported the illegal use of his lost credit cards at various locations in Longmont. The incident is being investigated.

MISSING PERSON 

On Sept. 8, a report was taken in reference to a missing person in the 100 block of Saint Clair Avenue. 

DEATH 

On Sept. 8 at approximately 0825 hours, police responded to the 900 block of Tulip Street for a report of a death investigation. A 76-year-old resident was found deceased. There are no suspicious circumstances. This case is referred to detectives.

TRESPASS 

On Sept. 8, police responded to the 700 block of South Sherman Street in reference to trespassing. A man was contacted and issued a summons.

FRAUD 

On Sept. 8 at approximately 1540 hours, police were dispatched to the 3000 block of Nelson Road on a possible fraud case. A female suspect has been identified. The case is open and will be forward to detectives.

DISTURBANCE 

On Sept. 8, police investigated an assault in the 1400 block of Emery Street.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION 

On Sept. 8 at approximately 1815 hours, police responded to the 300 block of Homestead Parkway on a report of a suspicious situation. A report was taken.

WELFARE CHECK 

On Sept. 8, police responded to a welfare check in the 2400 block of Ninth Avenue. An individual was placed on a mental health hold and transported to Longmont United Hospital.

HARASSMENT 

On Sept. 8, police were dispatched to the 700 block of South Sherman Street in reference to trespassing. Information was gathered and a stalking investigation was initiated.
