On Tuesday, June 29, the Longmont Police Department was called to the 1200 block of S. Coffman St. where 20 or more people were reported to be involved in a fight. Police were also alerted to shots being heard in the area.

According to Tuesday’s daily police report, the “shots were heard being fired by black vehicles leaving the area.”

Upon arrival, the police did not locate any victim(s), suspect(s), or damaged property. Police found shell casings at the scene and booked them into evidence.

Police stopped a black vehicle as it was leaving the area but discovered it was not associated with the disturbance.
