Longmont police are seeking information on a Tuesday night shooting near Kensington Park and East Longs Peak Avenue.

A Longmont officer was dispatched on a report of a shooting just after 11 p.m. on Tuesday, according to Longmont Public Safety Spokesperson Robin Ericson. Officers made contact and saw a bullet hole through the rear window of a vehicle.

Longmont police said they believe multiple individuals in the park on foot were associated with this shooting. At least one of these individuals is responsible for firing at the vehicle.

The two juveniles inside the vehicle were not injured, Ericson said.

Longmont police are seeking assistance in obtaining home or business surveillance video between 10:45-11 p.m. on Tuesday in the area bound by Longs Peak Avenue to the north, Rothrock Place to the south, Martin Street to the west and Lashley Street to the east.
