Weld County searches for burglary suspects

Anyone with information about the suspects, the vehicles or the crime is asked to call Deputy Kyle Keiser

On Monday, two suspects burglarized a local sporting goods store in the Vista View neighborhood, just east of Longmont, according to a post from the Weld County Sheriff's office.

The suspects entered the store with a key and stole several carbon compound bows, according to the post. Deputies estimate the stolen goods are worth $1,700.
The men wore masks and heavy clothing to disguise themselves, the post stated. One of the men also wore a reflective traffic vest.

A neighboring business caught the suspects two vehicles on camera, however, the quality of the picture made it difficult for deputies to determine the make and models of the vehicles, according to the post. Deputies were able to determine that one vehicle was a red SUV and the other was a maroon sedan.

Anyone with information about the suspects, the vehicles or the crime is asked to call Deputy Kyle Keiser at (970) 400-4558.

Anyone with information regarding this or any other crime is asked to call the Weld County Sheriff’s Office at (970) 356-4015 or Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be submitted through the Crime Stoppers website at www.NoCoCrimeStoppers.com. Those submitting tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect(s) may be eligible for a cash reward.
